Relief Caregiver

Creative Support is a national, rapidly expanding non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for individuals with diverse care needs. We are actively seeking a compassionate and committed Relief Support Worker to join our team in Barnet, North London.

Our Barnet service focuses on supporting individuals with learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate respect and provide exceptional support that may include administering medication and assisting with daily tasks such as cooking and cleaning. You will be passionate about empowering and encouraging our service users to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives, fostering their growth and development.

• Providing assistance with essential daily activities, including budgeting, shopping, medication management, and any necessary care.
• Collaborating effectively with service users, families, caregivers, and involved professionals to deliver a coordinated and consistent service that prioritizes the best outcomes for our service users.
• Responding promptly and sensitively to the needs of service users in accordance with their Person-Centered Plans, adapting to changing requirements with flexibility.
• Encouraging and supporting service users in expressing their needs, opinions, and concerns, enabling them to make informed choices and decisions independently.

Previous care experience is essential for Relief Support Worker positions. Successful candidates must complete mandatory induction training courses before commencing their role. While a driver's license is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement to support client engagement within the Barnet community.
