About the Role

Creative Support Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Relief Support Worker to join our team in Barnet, North London. As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling and valued lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with Daily Living Duties: Assist service users with day-to-day living tasks, including budgeting, shopping, and administering medication, as required.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with service users, families, carers, and professionals to provide a coordinated and consistent service that maximizes outcomes for service users.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Respond to the changing needs of service users, in line with Person-Centered Plans, and adapt to new situations as required.
  • Empowerment and Support: Encourage and support service users in expressing their needs, views, and concerns, enabling them to make their own choices and decisions.
Requirements
  • Previous Care Experience: Essential for Relief Support Worker positions, with a focus on supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Induction Training: Successful candidates must attend mandatory induction training courses before beginning in the role.
  • Car Driver (Preferred): While not essential, having a car driver's license is preferred to support client engagement with the community.
