Position: Hackney & Islington Programme Manager

The London Diocesan Fund (LDF) is seeking a dedicated individual to join the 2030 Vision team as a Programme Manager. This role is integral to fostering community engagement and church development in the Hackney and Islington areas.

Role Overview

The Programme Manager will lead the Hackney and Islington Programme (HIP), focusing on building partnerships and establishing new church communities. The objective is to cultivate a vibrant church presence that serves low-income neighborhoods and advances the mission of the Church.

  • Assist the Archdeacon of Hackney in prioritizing and managing HIP initiatives.
  • Develop and implement systems to monitor program effectiveness.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee HIP personnel, leaders, and volunteers.
  • Provide administrative oversight, including tracking project delivery, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Encourage collaboration among various teams and stakeholders.
  • Gather and evaluate data to measure progress and guide strategic decisions.
  • Identify funding opportunities and prepare grant applications.
  • Manage relationships and operational aspects for New Worshipping Communities.
Candidate ProfileEssential Qualifications
  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and develop effective plans.
  • Experience in facilitating strategic change.
  • Capable of managing a varied workload and setting priorities.
