Job Title: Hackney and Islington Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager to join our team at the London Diocesan Fund. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Hackney and Islington Programme, a key initiative aimed at fostering growth and development across the Hackney and Islington boroughs.

Job Summary

The Hackney and Islington Programme Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of this programme, working closely with the Archdeacon of Hackney and other stakeholders to deliver strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, building strong relationships, and driving growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Hackney and Islington Programme, including developing and implementing programme strategies and plans.
  • Work closely with the Archdeacon of Hackney and other stakeholders to deliver programme objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including church leaders, community groups, and other partners.
  • Develop and manage programme budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, including the National Church and Diocesan leadership.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for growth and development, including new church planting and community engagement initiatives.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager who can demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and programmes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Experience of working in a church or faith-based context, with a strong understanding of the values and principles of the Church of England.
