About the Role

Cox Automotive is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our team. As an Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our auction business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Yard Operations: Assist in the organization and display of vehicles prior to auction, ensuring a tidy and orderly appearance in the yard.
  • Vehicle Movement: Drive vehicles as instructed by your line manager, adhering to site rules, policies, and HSE requirements.
  • Pre-Sale Preparation: Ensure all vehicles are correctly presented with appropriate paperwork, including pre-sale literature.
  • Health and Safety: Observe all health and safety regulations and guidelines at all times, promoting a safe working environment for others.
  • Support Functions: Assist with the imagery process, pre-inspection process, and other ad hoc processes as required to support auction operations.
  • Customer Service: Conduct yourself in a calm, polite, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and team members.
Requirements
  • Basic Knowledge: Have a basic knowledge of HSE legislation and be able to operate required technology hardware for operational functions.
  • Driving Skills: Be able to drive a variety of vehicles with different ignition procedures and transmissions.
