Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Theatre Kit Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres by coordinating and managing all aspects of equipment, instrumentation, and implants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for ordering, receiving, and maintaining theatre equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure they have the necessary instruments and materials for procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to prevent shortages.
  • Implement and adhere to strict sterilization protocols to guarantee patient safety.
  • Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and supplies.
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment within the theatre department.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a theatre kit coordinator or similar role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of surgical instruments, equipment, and sterilization procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
