**£20,319 gross per annum**

**FULL TIME - 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK - PERMANENT**

**(Working hours Tuesday to Saturday - to include regular weekends/Bank Holidays/evenings)**

Supporting the Marketing and Communications team in the promotion of our exhibitions, screenings, family activities and events, along with our shop, café and venue hire activities - helping to create content and record and analyse along with support of ad hoc digital marketing activities when required.

**Knowledge, experience and skills**
- Good written communication skills.
- An understanding of the impact of effective social media and some experience or awareness of the latest platforms, including TikTok
- Keen to learn marketing skills (especially digital/online).
- An interest in art, films, live theatre and music events.
- An understanding of the importance of audience development.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- The ability to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders, for example build on our links with local businesses and community groups.
- Experience of, or willing to learn, WordPress (or other CMS software).
- Experience of working in a similar role is an advantage.
- A genuine interest in inclusion and equality.

Ability to be flexible in hours worked, according to the needs of the organisation.

**Tasks and Outputs**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with social media marketing, including creating content (written, audio and video), scheduling posts and recording statistics to help us analyse engagement
- Gather content to assist with marketing of films and events
- Update the Firstsite website - this includes updating and publishing web content, writing and/or editing copy and producing graphics, image manipulation and general website maintenance
- Contribute towards the accessibility of our marketing and communications output, including captioning images and subtitling videos
- Coordinate the display of all promotional materials in our Welcome Area, including flyers, cinema quads and a daily What’s On guide
- Monitor the Communications inbox, forwarding on information to relevant parties and working with the Marketing Coordinator to respond to enquiries and requests
- Monitor and record audience and communications statistics including footfall, digital engagement, online content and monthly media coverage
- Assist with purchase order and invoicing administration
- Assist with categorising images in the image library
- Add exhibition and event information to art and local directories to encourage people to visit. This includes liaising with listings publications, updating digital listings sites and creating and sharing Facebook events for Firstsite's event programme.
- Identify, record and contact groups, communities, university societies, shops, organisation etc to increase awareness and engagement in our activities
