South Coast Nursing Homes, a well-established family-owned care home provider based in Worthing, West Sussex, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager for their specialized dementia care facility, The Poets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated professionals in delivering exceptional care to residents while ensuring the smooth operation of the home at the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the home, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Empower and motivate the care team, promoting professional development and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure consistent high-quality care delivery.
  • Champion the company's values and ethos, ensuring they are reflected in all aspects of home operations.
  • Maintain effective communication with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage financial resources responsibly, adhering to budgetary guidelines and maximizing operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) qualification, or equivalent experience with a NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
  • A genuine passion for dementia care and a commitment to providing person-centered support.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of diverse individuals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with all parties.
