Job Title: Highway Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Highway Supervisor to join our team at Marlborough Highways. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient execution of highway maintenance and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate teams of directly employed and subcontracted labor to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement risk assessments and method statements to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage and liaise with subcontractors as necessary to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with the contract manager and operations manager to ensure projects are commercially viable.
Requirements:
  • Prior supervisory experience in a highways or civil engineering setting.
  • Strong understanding of highways term maintenance contracts.
  • Ability to generate and deliver monthly reports and other key performance indicators.
  • Valid driving license.
