We are seeking a Senior Credit Risk Advisor for a prominent consultancy specializing in credit risk, located in Leeds. This organization is recognized as one of the most data-intensive firms globally. The position will primarily involve the development of scorecards for a diverse clientele in the financial sector, including banks, fintech companies, and subscription services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Credit Risk Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • End-to-end development of credit scorecards.
  • Formulating acquisition strategies tailored for various clients within the financial services industry.
  • Interpreting regulations and client needs related to credit risk scorecards.
  • Creating credit strategies throughout all phases of the credit risk lifecycle.
  • Collaborating with clients to enhance portfolio analytics and provide insightful reporting.
  • Utilizing SAS, SQL, and Python on a daily basis.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in the role of Senior Credit Risk Advisor, candidates should possess:

  • Proven experience in developing credit risk scorecards.
  • Expertise in crafting acquisition strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in SAS, SQL, and/or Python.
  • Experience within the financial services sector.
  • A numerical degree from a prestigious UK university.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a solid background in engaging with senior stakeholders.
