Clinical Liaison Specialist for Older Adults

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as an Older Adult Liaison Specialist. The successful candidate will provide liaison services to older adult patients at Guys Hospital and St Thomas Hospital, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical liaison services to older adult patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of older adult patients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to older adult care.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in older adult care.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Experience in older adult psychiatry, with a strong understanding of the complexities of aging and age-related mental health issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
