Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our Community Stroke and Neuro Therapy team in North East Lincolnshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our therapy staff in delivering efficient and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist therapy staff with patient treatments, following specific treatment plans and providing necessary equipment.
- Conduct clerical and administrative duties directly supporting the therapy team.
- Travel to and work in different settings, including patient homes, care home facilities, and local leisure facilities.
- Support therapists with data collection, ordering equipment, and accompanying them on home visits.
- Carry out specifically defined interventions in patient homes, with the ability to work independently with delegated tasks.
- Level 1 Functional skills Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE equivalent D-E).
- Experience working with people, with good communication skills and the ability to relate well to people in all arenas.
- Competent IT skills and the ability to work independently with delegated tasks.
- Access to transport and the ability to travel within the required geographical area.
- Able to deal with people who may be distressed or anxious with sensitivity.
