We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our Community Stroke and Neuro Therapy team in North East Lincolnshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our therapy staff in delivering efficient and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist therapy staff with patient treatments, following specific treatment plans and providing necessary equipment.
- Conduct clerical and administrative duties to support the therapy team, including data collection and equipment maintenance.
- Accompany therapists on home visits and visit patient homes independently to carry out defined interventions.
- Support the therapy team with non-clinical administrative tasks, such as collating information and delivering equipment.
- Level 1 Functional skills Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE equivalent D-E)
- Experience working with people, with good communication skills and the ability to relate well to people in all arenas.
- Competent IT skills and the ability to work independently with delegated tasks.
- Access to transport and the ability to travel within the required geographical area.
- Able to deal with people who may be distressed or anxious with sensitivity.
- Excellent organisational and timekeeping skills.
