About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our Community Stroke and Neuro Therapy team in North East Lincolnshire as a Therapy Assistant.

The successful candidate will provide essential support to our therapy staff, assisting with patient care, treatment plans, and administrative duties.

This role involves working in various settings, including patient homes, care facilities, and local leisure centers, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support therapy staff with patient treatments, data collection, and equipment ordering
  • Accompany therapists on home visits and conduct interventions independently
  • Collate information, maintain equipment, and deliver services to support the team

Requirements

  • Level 1 Functional skills Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE equivalent D-E)
  • Experience working with people, good communication skills, and competent IT skills
  • Access to transport and ability to travel within the required geographical area
