About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our Community Stroke and Neuro Therapy team in North East Lincolnshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our therapy staff in delivering efficient and effective patient care.
Main Responsibilities
As a Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting therapy staff with patient treatments, following specific treatment plans, and providing equipment. You will also be involved in clerical and administrative duties, such as data collection, ordering equipment, and maintaining records.
Working Environment
This role involves working in a variety of settings, including patient homes, care homes, and local leisure facilities. You will be required to travel to different locations, including patient homes, and will need to have access to transport and the ability to safely transport yourself and equipment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently with delegated tasks. You will also need to have access to transport and the ability to travel within the required geographical area.
