About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our Community Stroke and Neuro Therapy team in North East Lincolnshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our therapy staff in delivering efficient and effective patient care.
Main Responsibilities
As a Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting therapy staff with patient treatments, following specific treatment plans, and providing equipment. You will also be involved in clerical and administrative duties, supporting the therapy team in their daily tasks.
Requirements
- Level 1 Functional skills Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE equivalent D-E)
- Experience working with people, with good communication skills and the ability to relate well to people in all arenas
- Competent IT skills
- Access to transport and the ability to travel within the required geographical area
- Able to deal with people who may be distressed or anxious with sensitivity
- Excellent organisational and timekeeping skills
