About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic service at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with trauma and orthopaedic conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and provide interventions to promote independence and functional ability.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in service development projects and contribute to the improvement of occupational therapy services.

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Post-qualification experience in a physical setting, preferably in a trauma and orthopaedic service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites and adapt to changing priorities.
