Senior Occupational Therapist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic service at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and experience of working in a fast-paced acute hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients undergoing elective orthopaedic surgery
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Contribute to the development of service improvement initiatives and participate in audit and quality improvement activities
- Supervise and support junior staff and students
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration
- Post-qualification experience in a physical setting, preferably in an acute hospital environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
