About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering individual assessments, interventions, and group interventions to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a range of individual assessments and interventions to individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines and agencies to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Travel across the locality to provide interventions and assessments in community settings.

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience in community mental health and group interventions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
