About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Tarmac. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targeted sales volumes, price, and profitability targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market knowledge and industry expertise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including commercial, technical, and site teams, to deliver customer requirements
  • Provide market intelligence and insights to inform business strategy and decision-making
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen and understanding of the aggregates industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid environment, with regular travel to customer sites and Tarmac locations
