Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at CV Technical. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy plant machinery, conveyors, crushers, excavators, and screeners
- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Collaborate with the plant manager and engineering team to identify and implement process improvements
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of mechanical systems and welding techniques
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Time-served or apprentice-trained in a mechanical trade
- Recognized mechanical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ)
- Welding experience and certification
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
