Job Overview
We are seeking a Regional Peripatetic Clinical Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.
This position offers a competitive base salary, along with a £5,000 car allowance, mileage reimbursement, and coverage for expenses.
As a key member of our management team, you will report directly to the Group Operations Director and will be responsible for providing hands-on clinical operational support across 16 care homes in England, collaborating closely with both the General Manager and Deputy Manager to ensure compliance and high standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical operational support to two Regional Care Specialist teams.
- Collaborate with the Care Quality, Governance, and Quality Director on clinical initiatives and projects.
- Provide project management assistance to the Programme Manager, focusing on training for systems and procedures.
- Support investigations and troubleshooting efforts, working in partnership with the Senior Management team and key stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered with the NMC with a Nursing or Clinical Degree.
- Level 5 or equivalent in Leadership and Management (or currently pursuing).
- Eligible for registration with CQC.
Proven Experience:
- At least 3 years in a senior clinical or care role within a care home environment.
- Experience in coordinating and managing audits and improvement strategies.
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Demonstrated success in leading, empowering, and motivating teams without direct supervision.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, relationship-centered care.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Exceptional leadership capabilities.
- Proficient IT skills, including medication management and electronic care planning.
- Strong written communication skills, particularly in investigation and report writing.
