Clinical Psychologist

EPUT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist to join our team as a Principal Psychologist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to lead and develop our service, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to improve care provision for adults with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of psychologists and behaviour therapists to deliver high-quality psychological assessments and interventions for adults with learning disabilities.
- Develop and implement care pathways and treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development of a trauma-informed and responsive service, aligning with the Trust's objectives.
- Provide training and consultation to multidisciplinary teams and agencies involved in the care of adults with learning disabilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve service delivery and outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
- Doctoral-level training in clinical psychology or Counselling Psychology, with HCPC registration and registration with a professional clinical body (BPS).
- Evidence of continuing professional development and experience of working as a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist in a senior role.
- Well-developed knowledge of psychological therapies and assessment tools, with experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities.
- Leadership and change management skills, with the ability to understand the wider implications of actions.
