About the Role

Stryker UK Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Leader to drive the company's Sports Medicine portfolio in the North of England and Scotland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exceed and deliver against quarterly and yearly business budget while managing equipment utilization, recurring revenue pipeline development, and accurate forecasting.
  • Manage, lead, and motivate a high-performing sales team to accelerate business through the Endoscopy portfolio.
  • Coach and develop sales team members to achieve their potential.
  • Support and collaborate with enabling function teams to ensure smooth order-to-cash process and high levels of customer service.
  • Build local clinical champions to support driving forward current and future technology platforms.
  • Understand and utilize market dynamics to support business acceleration.
  • Take a creative approach to new business development for current and future technologies and platforms.
Requirements
  • Training in a medical, scientific, or technical field or degree in sciences/economics is preferred.
  • Verifiable successful sales and/or marketing experience.
  • Experience leading and developing a high-performing sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Product knowledge in the general or orthopaedic surgery sector is preferred.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve challenging targets.
  • Commercial skills in leading a profit center.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in the medical device industry.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
