Area Sales Manager – North West UK (Engineering Polymers)

Location: North West UK

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to drive business growth in the North West UK region, focusing on engineering polymers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a market leader in the polymer sector and to use your technical expertise and business acumen to grow the company's footprint in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive business growth in the North West UK region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide technical consultation and support to customers on engineering polymers, ensuring alignment with their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the polymer industry.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the plastics industry, with a focus on engineering polymers.
  • A strong network of contacts within the industry.
  • Technical and commercial acumen to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Self-driven, ambitious, and highly motivated to achieve results.
  • Based in the North West UK with the flexibility to travel within the region as required.
