Job Overview

Verify, Inc. is a prominent provider of integrated systems across various aviation sectors, including commercial and military. We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to enhance our PCB operations.

This position presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified Manufacturing or Process Engineer to leverage their expertise in refining our production methodologies. The role involves preparing and assessing operational procedures, pinpointing and implementing process enhancements to address intricate shop floor challenges. Candidates will also contribute to the execution of delivery plans while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of business objectives and ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards.

With anticipated production volume increases of approximately 40%, this role will involve the integration of new machinery into our manufacturing workflow and the further development of our process controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee designated process controls within our manufacturing operations.
  • Establish and manage production processes, including tooling and equipment specifications.
  • Validate design specifications and their application on the shop floor for new products, tools, or equipment.
  • Promote accountability through regular operational reviews to ensure engineering tasks align with production needs.
  • Assess quality control processes and propose enhancements.
  • Analyze and report on production metrics, including methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, machine availability, and waste management.
  • Act as a key stakeholder during the selection of new equipment, ensuring alignment with process and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance of manufacturing processes with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services to maintain operational efficiency of production equipment.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in PCB manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with handling and dispensing low viscosity fluids, both manually and automatically.
  • Knowledge of process engineering control plans, capability analysis, and problem-solving techniques.
  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualifications.
  • Understanding of first article inspection and engineering change management.
  • Experience in aerospace, military, manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Background in lean manufacturing and new product introduction.

Essential Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Capability to program manufacturing equipment.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and handle challenging workloads.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
