About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Searchability. As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex data sets, developing predictive models, and implementing data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends and patterns
- Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms
- Utilize Java or Python for data analysis, model development, and automation
- Leverage Hadoop and other big data technologies to manage and process large data sets
- Apply software engineering best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code
Requirements
- Active Enhanced DV (West) clearance
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Cheltenham
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Java or Python for data analysis and model development
- Hands-on experience with Hadoop and related big data technologies
- Strong understanding of software engineering practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration
