Overview

Verify, Inc. is a prominent provider of integrated systems for various aviation sectors, including commercial and military applications. We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our PCB division.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Manufacturing or Process Engineer to leverage their expertise in refining our production methodologies. The role involves the formulation and assessment of operational procedures, pinpointing and executing enhancements to address intricate production challenges. Selected candidates will contribute to the execution of delivery strategies while maintaining an overarching awareness of business objectives and ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards.

With anticipated production increases of approximately 40% by the end of 2024, this role presents the challenge of assimilating new machinery into the manufacturing workflow and further advancing our process management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee designated process controls within our manufacturing operations.
  • Establish and manage production workflows, including tooling and machinery.
  • Validate design specifications and their application on the production floor for new products, tools, or equipment.
  • Promote accountability through regular operational reviews to ensure that manufacturing engineering tasks align with production needs.
  • Assess quality control measures and propose enhancements.
  • Analyze and report on production workflows, methodologies, schedules, equipment downtime, cycle times, machine availability, and waste management.
  • Act as a key participant in the selection of new equipment, ensuring alignment with process and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance of manufacturing processes with applicable policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to maintain operational efficiency of production equipment.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for process improvements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in PCB manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with handling and dispensing low viscosity fluids, either manually or through automation.
  • Proficiency in process engineering control plans, capability analysis, and problem resolution.
  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualifications.
  • Understanding of first article inspection and engineering change management.
  • Experience in aerospace, military, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and new product introduction.

Essential Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Capability to program manufacturing machinery.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and handle demanding workloads.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
