Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Support Specialist to join our team within an educational environment.

Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize laboratory apparatus and materials for practical science sessions.
- Maintain and manage laboratory resources, including chemicals, specimens, and equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments as necessary.
- Assist in the management of inventory for science supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laboratory setting.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a laboratory support role within an educational institution or a recent graduate in a scientific field.
- Strong understanding of laboratory protocols and safety measures.
- Familiarity with the handling of chemicals, specimens, and scientific apparatus.
- Ability to work autonomously and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
