Job Description

As a Software Engineer Apprentice, you will play a critical role in developing and creating computer software and systems that help operate our products. You will follow a structured 4-year program, which includes studying for a Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Apprenticeship and a BSc in Digital and Technology Solutions, specializing in Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software applications and systems to support product development and operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Design, implement, and test software solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of software development processes.
  • Work closely with product development teams to ensure software solutions meet product requirements.

Requirements
  • A strong foundation in computer science and software development principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • A passion for software development and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Meet the Exeter University requirements for the course, including either three A levels at AAB or a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at DDD in a Computer Science-related subject.
