Relief Support Worker Position

£12.00 per hour

Our facility is dedicated to providing long-term care for individuals with learning disabilities. We operate an 8-bed service spread across two levels, situated in a tranquil community.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional support while empowering individuals to enhance and sustain their personal skills. Our approach encourages clients to engage with their community, fostering social connections and promoting independence within their living environment.

Our seasoned and skilled team is equipped to address the evolving health requirements of our clients as they age.

Your primary responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

· Collaborating with colleagues to provide effective support to vulnerable individuals.

· Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with those we support, ensuring personalized care.

· Actively engaging with individuals during activities, offering constructive feedback and encouragement.

Understanding the Role of a Relief Support Worker

As a Relief Support Worker, you will undertake the same responsibilities as our regular Support Workers. The nature of relief work allows for flexibility, enabling you to select shifts that align with your availability.

*Please note: Relief work is contingent upon the needs of the service, including covering for absences and other staffing requirements.
