Customer Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at Utilise Recruitment Ltd. This role will be based in East Grinstead, West Sussex, and comes with a competitive salary between £25,000 - £28,000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer care and support
  • Develop strong relationships with other departments to ensure seamless communication
  • Update delivery dates, track deliveries, and follow up with customers
  • Follow leads through marketing, advertising, and customer interactions
  • Gain a deep understanding of our products, services, and overall objectives
  • Be flexible with working Saturdays and Open Days
  • Attend weekly and monthly meetings to stay informed and aligned
  • Assist the MD/Project Manager with diary management, meeting financial targets, and customer service monitoring
  • Perform administrative and organisational duties to support the team
  • Follow up on planning/building regulation applications and liaise with planning authorities and technical departments
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work one Saturday a month, with time off in lieu
  • Organisational and administrative experience
  • Willingness to work out of office hours
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is beneficial but not essential
  • Comfortable approaching customers and providing support
