Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician with CompEx experience to join our team in the Water industry. As an Electrician with Ross-shire Engineering Limited, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Install cable containment systems to a high standard, ensuring safety and compliance with industry regulations.
- Install, gland, and terminate cable systems to BS 7671 and manufacturer's instructions.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools.
- Work at height to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, adhering to safe working procedures.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
- Plan, layout, and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and standards.
- Fully qualified electrician with skill in the installation and repair of all types of electrical equipment and components.
- ECS Grading Card – must be current/in date (BS 7671 Training, Approved Health and Safety Assessment).
- CompEx Ex01 – Ex04.
- Fully qualified to 18th Edition.
- Water industry experience would be highly advantageous, but other sectors such as heavy industry will also be considered.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
