WR Logistics is a prominent player in the logistics and international freight forwarding sector, employing a dedicated team of over 380 professionals and experiencing rapid growth.

In light of our expansion plans, we are seeking a European Freight Operations Specialist with expertise in Export Groupage consignments to enhance our dynamic team in Witham, Essex.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage dedicated Export Groupage services across European road networks.
  • Establish and nurture key service relationships with clients to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Build strong connections with overseas agents and suppliers.
  • Plan and coordinate European Groupage Trailer logistics.
  • Oversee the Profit/Loss associated with the service.
  • Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods throughout Europe.
  • Arrange suitable transport solutions to meet the requirements of goods being shipped.
  • Provide daily quotations to customers.
  • Prepare comprehensive manifests or delivery notes for transport and warehouse personnel as needed.
  • Adhere to EU and UK regulations regarding export/import documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date geographic knowledge to optimize transport efficiency.
  • Offer support and cover in various operational areas as necessary.
  • Participate in regular performance reviews and annual appraisals with management.
Requirements:
  • Experience in EU Road freight forwarding is essential; however, junior candidates may be considered.
  • Strong understanding of EU Road freight movements.
  • Experience in planning and managing export European groupage markets.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team, engaging with customers.
  • Knowledge of international European freight markets and distribution tariffs.
  • Experience working with European forwarders and hauliers.
  • Ability to coordinate with warehouses for planning and loading trailers.
