About the RoleWe are recruiting for a passionate and motivated Project Manager to lead one of our supported living services in the Durham area. This bespoke service enables people with complex needs, autistic spectrum conditions and learning disabilities to lead fulfilling, happy and rewarding lives within high-quality community-based settings.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of care and support to our service users
- Develop structured programmes of communication, personalised support and positive behaviour management
- Work closely with families and other professionals
- Supervise and mentor a staff team
- Help deliver consistent, person-centred services which meet the needs and preferences of individuals
You will have previous experience, knowledge and a good understanding of working with people with complex needs, learning disabilities and autism. You must be skilled in assessment and support planning, using a variety of methods such as communication pathways and positive behaviour support strategies. You will manage and deploy staff effectively to meet the needs of service users, you will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
