About the Role:
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Domestic Team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust as a Domestic Support Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive support service in the hospital environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide a high-quality responsive, efficient, and effective patient support service to wards and departments within Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.
- Carry out general cleaning within the hospital environment, including clinical and patient areas, to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist in any infection control deep cleans as directed by the Domestic Supervisor or Facilities Support Services Manager to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ensure that all barrier nursing and infection-related PPE is fully utilized in line with displayed signs on patient doors to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Ensure that all cleaning materials are used in accordance with mandated facilities processes to maintain a clean and safe environment.
