We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Domestic Assistant to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive support service in the hospital environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Carrying out daily duties as instructed by the Domestic Supervisor, including general and routine cleaning of wards, clinical and non-clinical departments, offices, communal areas, and public areas.
  • Assisting in any infection control deep cleans directed by the Domestic Supervisor or Facilities Support Services Manager.
  • Ensuring that all barrier nursing and infection-related PPE is fully utilized in line with displayed signs on patient doors.
  • Ensuring that all cleaning materials are used in accordance with mandated facilities processes.
