About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Domestic Team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust as a Domestic Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality cleaning and support service to our hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out daily cleaning duties as instructed by the Domestic Supervisor, including general cleaning of wards, clinical and non-clinical departments, offices, and public areas.
  • Assisting in infection control deep cleans as directed by the Domestic Supervisor or Facilities Support Services Manager.
  • Ensuring the use of barrier nursing and infection-related PPE in line with displayed signs on patient doors.
  • Using cleaning materials in accordance with mandated facilities processes.
