Domestic Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Domestic Team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust at Stepping Hill Hospital. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a comprehensive support service in the hospital environment.
Main Responsibilities
Carrying out daily duties as instructed by the Domestic Supervisor, you will be responsible for general/routine cleaning of wards, clinical and non-clinical departments/offices, communal areas, and public areas, toilets in line with the local cleaning schedules as designated.
Assisting in any infection control deep cleans directed by the Domestic Supervisor or Facilities Support Services Manager.
Ensuring that all barrier nursing and infection-related PPE is fully utilized in line with the displayed signs on patient doors.
Ensuring that all cleaning materials are used in accordance with mandated facilities processes.
