Domestic Abuse Case Worker Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Case Worker to join our team at Stockport Homes Group. This role will play a vital part in our Borough's response to the Domestic Abuse Act.

As a Domestic Abuse Case Worker, you will work closely with tenants and owner occupiers to provide support and guidance on measures to remain safe in their homes or explore alternative housing options. You will empower individuals to make informed decisions about their future and develop action plans to address domestic abuse.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive support to individuals experiencing domestic abuse
  • Developing and implementing effective action plans to ensure safety and well-being
  • Collaborating with partners to provide a coordinated response to domestic abuse
  • Conducting thorough investigations, including interviews and surveillance
  • Preparing accurate and thorough written and verbal reports and witness statements
