As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing the procurement strategy through effective collaboration and partnership. Your efforts will ensure that procurement activities are conducted in a robust and commercially viable manner, managing risks while aligning third-party services with the organization’s core values and overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee an annual procurement budget of approximately £600 million.
  • Enhance compliance and commercial acumen to optimize spending capabilities.
  • Achieve efficiencies and cost savings across various departments.
  • Lead intricate procurement initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Senior Sourcing Manager.
  • Formulate and implement procurement strategies.
  • Independently manage a diverse range of procurement projects through established processes.
  • Engage in a broad and stimulating array of tasks.
  • Establish and nurture strong professional relationships.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in procurement, ideally within the housing industry.
  • Successfully managed complex above-threshold tenders.
  • Familiarity with Find a Tender (FTS) compliant frameworks.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of procurement regulations and recent changes.
  • In-depth understanding of Public Contract Regulations (PCR 2015) and applicable procurement methods.
  • Experience applying procurement processes in a Charity or Social Housing context.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external partners.
  • A collaborative team player who can adapt to varying workloads.
  • Willingness to support colleagues as needed.
  • A genuine interest in contributing to a team focused on making a meaningful impact.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: £52,000 to £58,000.
