About the Role

Aubay UK is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Expert to join our team within the Information and Digital Engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and ensuring supplier performance meets our standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with business portfolio goals, including cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier diversification.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of supplier costs, market trends, and industry benchmarks.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic sourcing decisions and actions.
  • Assess and mitigate risks, including supplier disruptions, delivery quality issues, and compliance concerns.
  • Manage a complex network of senior stakeholders, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve defined business goals.
  • Liaise with Contracting & Procurement counterparts to agree changes in sourcing process, suppliers, performance evaluation, and supporting rate-card negotiations.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance sourcing efficiency and effectiveness, such as implementing supplier ecosystems and innovative initiatives.
