Job Description

IGA Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead the development of strategic sourcing initiatives within the People category. This contract role is perfect for an experienced professional looking to make a significant impact by delivering tailored solutions that drive value across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy toolkit for the People category, addressing both customer challenges and market opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Work directly with customers to create and align annual category plans with market trends and business objectives.
  • Market Research: Conduct detailed research to stay informed on industry trends, supplier landscapes, and cost structures.
  • Industry Involvement: Actively participate in industry events and networks to maintain a strong awareness of emerging trends and innovations.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiation strategies and oversee their implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Supplier Management: Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring performance meets business requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside Innovation and Sales teams to attract new customers and align strategies with key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, procurement/supply chain, or a related field. An MBA or advanced qualifications are advantageous.

Experience: Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and procurement, particularly within the People category. International and multi-country experience is highly desirable.

  • Expertise in People category insights and industry practices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to process complex data and inform decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiation, delivering cost savings and favourable contracts.
  • Proficiency with procurement tools and supplier collaboration platforms.
