Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Parenting Practitioner to join our dynamic Wellbeing Team at the Young Person's Advisory Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting parents through evidence-based parenting interventions, group programmes, and one-to-one coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver evidence-based parenting interventions to support parents in building resilience and making positive life choices.
  • Work closely with our Therapy Teams and Wellbeing Practitioners to provide a comprehensive support service to families.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a seamless service delivery and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programmes and services to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Evidence-Based Psychological Treatments for Parenting for Conduct Disorder or equivalent qualification.
  • Two years post-qualification experience working with parents or children and young people.
  • Qualified member of a mental health profession, Accredited Therapist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or equivalent.
