About the Role:

The Administration Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests visiting the care home. This role will involve supporting the Home Admin Manager with various administrative tasks, including answering inquiries, responding to correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating front desk activities, including answering calls, providing information, and redirecting calls or taking accurate messages.
  • Assisting the Home Admin Manager with payroll tasks, such as setting up new starters, recording absence and annual leave, and processing leavers.
  • Supporting the Home Admin Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assisting with enquiry handling, preparing and sending out promotional materials, and responding to and sending correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience is desirable, as is knowledge of finance and HR procedures. Training will be provided for the successful candidate.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and IT skills, ideally Microsoft Office, together with an eye for detail.
  • Confidence in handling personal and sensitive data, ensuring it is maintained in a confidential manner at all times.
  • Organized, numerate, and accurate, with a 'can-do' attitude.
