Job Title: Pensions Technical Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pensions Technical Team Lead to join our team at Test Labs. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of laboratory scientists, ensuring the successful delivery of medical device testing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of laboratory scientists, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement test methods and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct medical device testing, where required, to fulfill the requirements of the study plan and adhere to internal SOPs and QMS.
  • Train new staff and take on responsibility for training schedules.
  • Direct reports of laboratory scientists, managing daily huddles and weekly 1-2-1s.
  • Create detailed and accurate test reports.
  • Implement project plans, standard operating procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Communicate with the team to participate in determining objectives.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a UKAS testing environment.
  • Experience within a GLP testing laboratory.
  • 3-5 years' experience working in a laboratory.
  • Experience managing a team of analysts.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to new situations.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
  • Confidentiality in processing sensitive data.
  • Ability to work to the highest HSE standards and procedures.
