Role Summary: The Executive Lounge Training Supervisor will report to both the General Manager and the Senior Regional Training Officer, playing a pivotal role in supporting the local lounge team by managing the training functions. This includes conducting classroom-based training for new hires and providing hands-on training in the lounge environment. As a senior leader, you will ensure that every team member exceeds guest expectations by adhering to our training protocols, safety, and hygiene standards. Collaborating with the Lounge Regional Training framework, you will guarantee compliance with all mandatory training requirements and maintain accurate training records.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver both theoretical and practical training in alignment with global and local standards.
- Mentor and develop new and existing staff, offering constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Exemplify leadership by serving as a role model and addressing performance issues promptly.
- Onboard new team members effectively.
- Continuously assess employee performance to ensure competency in their roles.
- Uphold company standards and policies diligently.
- Ensure compliance with training requirements and maintain up-to-date records.
- Regularly communicate with the Senior Regional Training Officer regarding training needs.
- Update training databases to reflect compliance accurately.
- Assist with scheduling and coverage for team leaders as necessary.
- Provide daily leadership to the lounge team, ensuring adherence to health and safety, quality, customer service, and security standards.
- Proactively support operations to enhance service delivery, including championing dietary and allergen information.
- Take personal accountability for delivering consistent high-quality service to minimize incidents and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Engage and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members regarding company objectives.
- Proficient in building positive and trusting relationships.
- Encourage a culture of innovation to foster agility within teams.
- Promote adaptability and flexibility to manage unforeseen circumstances.
