Housing Support Worker – Bournemouth

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £24,962 Per Annum (Base salary £23,962 + £1,000 Unsociable Hours)

Hours: 8 hours per day, with shift patterns and flexibility discussed during the interview. The provision of the contract is between 08:00 and 22:00.

Location: Bournemouth

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for the role

About the Role:

Nacro, a national Social Justice Charity, is seeking a Housing Support Worker to join their team in Bournemouth. As a Housing Support Worker, you will provide flexible and holistic support to residents with a wide range of needs, aiming to help them find and keep a stable home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients to comply with HDC/Bail conditions
  • Develop realistic and achievable Support Plans, including accessing housing and accommodation services
  • Ensure Support Plans and Risk Assessments are unique, inclusive, and person-centred
  • Provide weekly support to residents to engage with their Support Plan and contribute to achieving their objectives and aspirations
  • Support residents to access Housing Benefit and manage properties to ensure they are maintained to Decent Homes Standard
