The role of Mechanical Engineer (Fitting and Fabrication) offers a dynamic and diverse opportunity within a fast-paced processing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

  • Executing a wide range of Mechanical Engineering tasks, including sitewide fabrication, welding, and maintenance.
  • Conducting fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Responding to emergency breakdowns and performing repairs.
  • Implementing Planned Preventative Maintenance strategies.
  • Overseeing the installation of new machinery and equipment as necessary.
  • Engaging in Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Time Served or HNC qualification in a Mechanical discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Fabricator in a processing, manufacturing, or engineering context.
  • Strong welding skills, with essential experience in Mig/MMA welding.
