Join Our Design Team

Ross-shire Engineering Limited is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to enhance our in-house design capabilities. This role is pivotal in delivering innovative water treatment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project phases from initial scoping to detailed design and implementation.
  • Ensure adherence to client specifications and current regulatory standards.
  • Develop comprehensive design deliverables.
  • Compile contract works information documents.
  • Address health, safety, quality, and environmental considerations in project execution.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
  • Manage project change control and program requirements.
  • Act as Design Lead for assigned projects.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise in the design and operation of water and wastewater projects or similar fields. Key qualifications include:

  • Proven mechanical design engineering experience in municipal water/wastewater sectors.
  • Demonstrable background in process engineering or related environments.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Desirable design management experience.
  • Familiarity with program and financial management.
  • Experience across all design stages, from optioneering/FEED to construction support and As-Built.
  • Experience in plant commissioning and/or operation is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possession of a full UK Driving Licence.
